Courses take place in a traditional Provençal house (Mas) in the beautiful town of Saint Rémy de Provence, 15 minutes south of Avignon (on the fast TGV line Paris-Marseille). We can arrange transport to and from Avignon.
Saint Rémy de Provence offers all the charms of a small Provençal town and has a wide range of cafés, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums and historical sites. It is situated at the foot of the picturesque Les Alpilles mountains which offer excellent hiking and cycling opportunities.
Saint Rémy de Provence has a wonderful market every Wednesday throughout the year and is one of the very few towns in the region that remains dynamic during the low tourist season. Saint Rémy de Provence was voted second in the Forbes.com survey "Europe's Most Idyllic Places to Live".
The Mas is in short walking distance of the town centre and footpaths leading into Les Alpilles mountains are easily reached. It is right next to the Roman ruins of Glannum and the Monastere Saint-Paul-de-Mausole, where Van Gogh stayed at the psychiatric hospital during 1889 and painted some of his most famous works.
Saint Rémy de Provence offers a very wide range of hotels, chambre d'hôtes (bed and breakfast) and weekly rentals to cater for all budgets.
More information can be found at the tourist office website...

Magali is also a qualified dietician and has a great interest in food. She combines traditional recipes from her family with her own innovations. Mealtimes are opportunities to talk and try Provençal cuisine.
Meals taken at the Mas are homemade by Magali and her family using ingredients from organic farms and local small-scale producers. They are garnished with Provençal herbs from our garden.
For meals taken outside of the programme, Saint Rémy de Provence offers a very wide choice of restaurants, cafés, epiceries and bakers for all tastes and budgets.
